Gone Fishin!

During the 90s, the stringent water quality monitoring in  coastal North Carolina has resulted in a dramatic return of the aquatic vegetation to the Pamlico River and its tributaries.  This in turn has led to a resurgence of a variety of species of fish. The more popular of these species which are taken regularly from our area are striped bass, flounder, largemouth bass, bream, and trout (primarily in the fall).  World class tarpon fishing can be found just down river from us.

We also have alligator gar for all you serious gar fishermen out there!
